Cubic Frog Apps is an independent mobile development company based out of Las Vegas, Nevada and is in the business of designing new-fashioned ways for your child to learn and play by designing and delivering educational mobile applications for young children of the highest-quality.

We believe that with the use of our apps, a child will benefit from “teachable moments” that last a lifetime.

Our products are engagingly interactive by delivering colorful graphics and superior sound production and are so noted for their exceptional visual/audio and functionality.  Merging these qualities has translated into a fun, educational and rewarding experience for our highly valued customers as well as us.

The future of Cubic Frog Apps is focused on educational products for both the toddler and preschool market.  Although the bulk of our sales have been within the continental United States, our international market is growing rapidly which will factor into future products designed to speak to all the children of the world.

Maryam Zahiri – Founder, Play Designer

With her Master’s in Industrial Design/Product Design in hand, Maryam accrued years of experience in the game and toy industries including contributions through different toy companies as a toy designer where she developed many toys for National Geographic, Discovery Kids, and Star Wars.

Her ignition to work with children switched into high gear as she began teaching children music with the Orff Schulwerk method before moving on to develop her Classical Guitar, Classical Piano and Viola musical skills.

After teaching Design Principles to Game Design Students at IADT (International Academy of Design and Technology ), she has now focused her superior talents and intuitive abilities towards designing innovative new-fashioned ways for your children to play creative fun learning games on mobile devices and is dedicated to producing only the finest quality products.

Mathieu Roy – Programmer

Mathieu is a 25-year-old iOS developer and father to a 4-year-old daughter. He is passionate about technology, gaming, and already has couple of successful titles on the App Store. It is his love of creating content for kids that fueled his fire to jump in with Cubic Frog Apps Creative Pond as iOS developer. In addition to programming, he provides technical review for a successful iPhone development book by ensuring the technical content is accurate and well explained. One of the largest gaming publishers, EA, publishes his games.

Carl Graves – Sound Production

Carl Graves is a multi-faceted talent who received his formal musical training from the prestigious Royal Toronto Conservatory of Music, later completing studies in Jazz.  Carl’s first major professional success in America came as a member of Capitol Records’ recording artists, “Skylark.” As a dynamic performer, Carl embarked on a solo career, recording two albums with A&M Records including hit singles “Baby Hang up the Phone” and “Heart Be Still.”  In the late 80’s, he joined MCA recording group “Oingo Boingo” as keyboardist/vocalist who then toured and recorded three albums with the group.

In demand as a solo and group vocalist, keyboardist and arranger, he composes and produces film and television soundtracks, commercials and record dates. PRODUCER, VOCALIST, ENGINEER… Carl has been working in this field many years with a long list of talent that he has been involved with including David Foster, Maurice White, Dave Mason and Oingo Boingo, along with Disney for Record Production and Film/TV Vocalist on Forrest Gump, Beetlejuice, Witness, Fame and Armistad just to name a few.

He is also a vocal coach for some of the biggest names in the business today and continues to develop & produce some of the brightest young talent in the music industry.  Carl Graves has become a major producer of music in the toy industry. Working with Great Music Inc., he has produced many commercials, songs and voice-overs, for toy companies.
